Litigation Associate, New York City, New York · Vault Top 10 Firm

A Vault Top 10 firm is recruiting litigation associates to join its New York office in 2026 or 2027, following judicial clerkships. The firm seeks candidates with exceptional academic records and demonstrated appetite for early responsibility. You'll work on high-stakes commercial litigation matters in both state and federal courts.

The work:

• Complex commercial litigation across state and federal jurisdictions
• Litigation support and case management on substantive matters
• Legal writing and research on significant issues
• Discovery, motion practice, and case strategy
• Direct client and court interaction

• Judicial clerk with outstanding academic achievement
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and drive
• Law review background, moot court participation, or similar indicators
• Strong legal writing ability and analytical skills
• Willingness to take on meaningful work from the outset

Compensation: $225,000 to $310,000
