A litigation-focused firm is seeking an associate attorney with 2-8 years of experience in general liability and professional liability defense. This role offers hands-on experience across the full spectrum of litigation, from initial pleadings through trial.

The work:

• Handle discovery, depositions, and motion practice across a range of cases
• Draft legal research memoranda and pleadings
• Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and settlement negotiations
• Work with insurance carriers and opposing counsel on case strategy and resolution
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex litigation matters

What they're looking for:

• 2-8 years of experience in general or professional liability defense
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active bar license in good standing
• Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities
• Solid communication and client advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet tight deadlines
