Litigation Associate, Atlanta · Regional Litigation Firm

A regional litigation firm in Atlanta seeks a midlevel associate with three to five years of experience to join its defense practice. You'll manage liability litigation matters spanning transportation and premises liability.

The work:

• Manage all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation
• Handle depositions, motion practice, and court appearances
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
• Represent clients in mediation and arbitration
• Develop case strategy with senior attorneys and partners
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and carriers

What they're looking for:

• 3-5 years of general liability or transportation liability defense experience
• Active bar license in good standing
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Courtroom advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
