Life Sciences Licensing Associate, Philadelphia · Vault Top 10 Firm

Vault top-10 firm seeks a mid-level associate (3–5 years) with strong IP licensing experience and fluency in Mandarin to join the Life Sciences group. The role combines technology licensing, corporate deal work, and international expansion focus.

The work:

• Negotiate and draft intellectual property licenses, including patent and trademark licenses
• Develop joint development, collaboration, and strategic alliance agreements
• Work on technology licenses, services agreements, and distribution arrangements
• Conduct IP and technology transaction due diligence for corporate deals
• Support technology transfer initiatives
• Manage substantial transaction components independently while collaborating with experienced partners

What they're looking for:

• 3–5 years of law firm experience in IP licensing and technology transactions
• Fluency in Mandarin; prior Asia work experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to handle transaction components independently
• Strong academic credentials and communication skills
• Bar admission (or eligibility to obtain promptly)
