Life Sciences Licensing Associate, Boston · Vault Top 15 Firm

Vault Top 15 firm seeking a mid-level associate with 3-4 years of experience to handle IP licensing matters in the life sciences space. The role combines traditional corporate licensing work with technology transaction support for acquisitions and partnerships.

The work:

• Drafting and negotiating intellectual property licenses (patent, trademark, and technology)
• Joint development agreements, collaboration agreements, and strategic alliances
• Software and technology licensing (including SaaS agreements)
• Distribution agreements and related commercial arrangements
• Intellectual property due diligence for corporate transactions and technology transfers
• Managing portions of transactions independently while supporting larger team efforts

What they're looking for:

• 3-4 years of law firm experience, ideally with substantial IP licensing background
• Demonstrated ability to handle transaction components independently
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent academic record
• Bar admission (or ability to obtain promptly)
