Leveraged Finance Associate, London · US Firm

A US firm is hiring a leveraged finance associate into its London office to act on sponsor-side financings for private equity clients. Dealflow is steady and the seat pays New York rates.

The work:

• Represent private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on leveraged buyouts and acquisition financings.
• Negotiate credit agreements and cross-border debt packages, including high-yield.
• Run deals across the capital structure, covering senior secured, unitranche, and mezzanine debt.
• Work opposite lenders and their counsel through signing and closing.

What they're looking for:

• Three to six years of leveraged or acquisition finance experience on the sponsor side.
• Familiarity with both US and English law-governed debt documents.
• England-qualified or US-qualified.
