Junior Associate, New York · Leading Venture Capital Practice

A leading venture capital and startup practice seeks a junior corporate attorney for its New York office, with flexibility to work across multiple locations depending on the candidate. The role offers early responsibility on cross-border transactions for technology entrepreneurs and venture capital funds investing in Latin American markets.

The work:

• Venture capital financings for emerging companies and early-stage technology businesses
• M&A transactions and general corporate advisory
• Advising technology entrepreneurs and founders on transactional matters
• Cross-border transactions involving US and Latin American markets
• Significant client interaction from day one and early responsibility on active matters

What they're looking for:

• Recent law school graduate (2024-2025 JD or LLM) or bar-eligible candidate
• Prior work experience in Latin America a plus
• Venture capital financing and emerging company transaction experience strongly preferred
• Bar admission in California and/or New York required
• Fluency in Spanish required

Salary range: $225,000-$235,000.
