IP Litigation Associate, Multiple US Locations · Global Am Law 50 Firm

A global Am Law 50 firm with an intellectual property practice seeks a patent litigation associate. You'll represent Fortune 50 companies and innovative startups in high-stakes IP disputes across technology, consumer products, and life sciences.

The work:

• Patent litigation in federal district courts, including motion practice and trial preparation
• International Trade Commission investigations under Section 337
• Patent Trial and Appeal Board proceedings and inter partes reviews
• Drafting briefs, motions, and client communications
• Managing discovery and fact development with technical experts
• Cases involving standards-essential patents and related disputes

What they're looking for:

• 3-6 years of patent litigation experience
• Technical background or ability to rapidly master complex technologies
• Strong writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams
• Admission to practice in a relevant jurisdiction required
• Experience with PTAB proceedings, ITC investigations, or standards-essential patents a plus

Compensation: $260,000–$390,000 base salary, based on experience and qualifications.
