IP Licensing Associate, Philadelphia · Vault Top 30 Firm

A Vault Top 30 firm with deep life sciences expertise seeks a mid-level associate to join its intellectual property and corporate practice. You'll handle licensing and technology transactions for life sciences companies, from drafting and negotiating complex IP agreements to managing technology transfer and IP due diligence on corporate deals.

The work:

• Draft and negotiate patent and trademark licenses
• Prepare collaboration and joint development agreements
• Manage IP and technology transaction due diligence for M&A
• Handle software licensing and services agreements
• Develop distribution and technology transfer agreements
• Manage portions of transactions independently while collaborating with senior team members

What they're looking for:

• 3 to 4 years of experience in IP licensing and technology transactions
• Background in IP licensing, technology transfer, and corporate transactions
• Knowledge of life sciences industry and applicable IP considerations
• Team collaboration and independent project management
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Bar admission or admission eligibility
