As a mid to senior-level associate with 4-7 years of private equity funds experience, you'll work on private equity fund formation, portfolio company investments, and related corporate matters in New York, Chicago, or Washington DC. The firm focuses on advising financial sponsors on fund structuring, investment strategies, and portfolio management.

The firm seeks candidates with strong academic records and substantial law firm experience in private equity transactions. Relevant in-house experience is also valued. You should have a track record of handling complex fund formations, capital calls, distributions, and investment documentation.

Starting salary for the New York position is $310,000-$420,000 annually, depending on your background and experience. Compensation is determined by skills, relevant experience, and job-related factors in accordance with applicable law. The position is eligible for discretionary year-end bonuses.
