Investment Funds Senior Associate, Sydney · Global Finance Powerhouse

A leading global finance firm's Sydney office is seeking a senior investment funds lawyer. You'll advise asset managers, trustees, and superannuation funds on investment structures and regulatory compliance across public and private markets.

The work:

• Advise on fund formation and structuring for retail and wholesale investment vehicles
• Handle regulatory compliance including ASIC engagement, AFS licensing, and disclosure obligations
• Draft and negotiate investment documentation: constitutions, trust deeds, management agreements, side letters
• Advise asset managers on corporate and financial services law
• Coordinate with the firm's global offices on cross-border transactions
• Advise on governance and directors' duties

What they're looking for:

• 5–7+ years' experience in investment funds or financial services
• Prior corporate law experience a plus
• Practical, proactive problem-solving approach
• Ability to work collaboratively in team environments
• Strong client service, written and oral communication skills
