Intellectual Property Litigation Associate, Dallas, New York, Washington, DC · Global Law Powerhouse

Join a global law powerhouse's intellectual property and technology practice across Dallas, New York, and Washington, DC. This position is for an associate with 4-7 years of patent litigation experience to work on a broad range of IP disputes within a collaborative, multi-office team.

The work:

• Patent litigation in federal courts, the PTAB, and the ITC
• Trade secret, false advertising, and unfair competition matters
• Pleadings, motions, appellate briefs, and legal correspondence
• Discovery management and deposition preparation
• Expert development and trial preparation
• Motion arguments, trials, and appellate advocacy
• Dispute resolution and settlement strategy
• PTAB proceedings and ITC matters

What they're looking for:

• 4-7 years of litigation experience focused on patent law
• Patent bar certification (preferred)
• Science or engineering background (strongly preferred)
• Strong written and oral communication
• Analytical and collaborative mindset
• Ability to manage client relationships
• Current law license in relevant state

Compensation: $265,000-$420,000 based on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off. The firm provides significant mentorship and training within an established IP litigation team.
