Intellectual property and technology associate at a leading global law firm. The team advises clients across technology, automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, financial services, pharmaceuticals, and media on commercial matters. The office is staffed with experienced partners and directors who provide close mentoring and supervision. The role emphasizes technical excellence, commercial thinking, and developing individual expertise areas while maintaining broad competence.

The work:

• Handle digital transformation and commercial IT contracts, including artificial intelligence applications and technology integration projects
• Advise on IP protection, exploitation, and licensing arrangements
• Draft and negotiate supply chain and outsourcing agreements
• Support corporate transactions including M&A due diligence
• Manage a mixed caseload of standalone matters and involvement in cross-office projects
• Participate in team and firm business development initiatives

What they're looking for:

• Qualified solicitor with 0–5 years PQE
• Experience with commercial technology matters across sectors where possible
• Strong technical and commercial drafting skills
• Commitment to client service excellence and business development
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with ability to work under pressure
• Confidence with technology in daily work
• Initiative balanced with good judgment about seeking guidance
