Insurance Regulatory Associate, Chicago, New York · Major National Law Firm

Major national law firm seeking insurance regulatory associate with 4 to 6 years of regulatory and transactional experience for offices in Chicago or New York. This is an opportunity to work on complex insurance compliance and regulatory matters across multiple practice areas.

The work:

• Counsel insurance clients on regulatory compliance, licensing, and product evaluation
• Analyze regulatory issues and manage form filings and regulatory submissions
• Conduct financial examination and analysis of transactions
• Represent clients before state insurance departments and regulatory bodies
• Work with both property/casualty and life/health insurance clients on substantive legal matters

What they're looking for:

• 4 to 6 years of insurance regulatory experience
• JD from accredited law school
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively with teams
• Innovative thinker who takes initiative and ownership of work

Salary: $295,000 to $350,000 based on experience.
