A national litigation firm with a strong healthcare practice seeks an associate to join its healthcare litigation group. You'll handle complex litigation matters affecting healthcare organizations, from medical malpractice to managed care and reimbursement disputes.

The work:

• Draft briefs, complaints, motions, discovery requests, and memoranda
• Prepare for and defend depositions
• Research and analyze complex healthcare legal issues
• Manage litigation matters independently and collaboratively
• Handle hospital, medical staffing, and managed care disputes

What they're looking for:

• 2-4 years of complex litigation experience
• Excellent writing and research skills
• Background in healthcare law, medical malpractice, or hospital litigation preferred
• Strong academic credentials and law firm experience
• Proactive, team-oriented approach with drive to grow the practice
• Active Tennessee bar admission required
