Global Markets Associate, New York · Vault Top 30 Firm

A Vault Top 30 global law firm seeks a mid-level derivatives attorney for its New York office. The role focuses on credit derivatives, structured credit transactions, and regulatory matters in derivatives and digital assets. You'll work across the full transaction lifecycle, from initial client engagement through post-closing matters, in both transactional and advisory capacities.

The work:

• Drafting and reviewing legal agreements for derivatives and structured credit transactions
• Advising clients on regulatory frameworks and bankruptcy issues in derivatives and digital assets
• Managing transactions from term sheet negotiation through closing
• Conducting legal research and preparing client advice
• Contributing to firm knowledge resources
• Participating in business development initiatives

What they're looking for:

• Mid-level attorney licensed in New York
• Substantial experience with credit derivatives and structured credit transactions
• Strong knowledge of US derivatives regulation and bankruptcy law
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proven ability to manage complex transactions
• Experience working on cross-border matters preferred
