Associate position in global leveraged finance at a large international law firm. The practice advises on acquisition finance, fund finance, infrastructure finance, restructuring, and other complex debt arrangements. Known for commercial sophistication and innovative transaction structuring.

The work:

• Leveraged finance transactions across acquisition, fund, infrastructure, and restructuring mandates
• Secured lending and private credit structures
• Drafting and negotiating primary loan documentation and ancillary certificates
• Managing transaction closings
• Advising both lenders and borrowers on commercial and legal structures
• Representing clients across energy, utilities, and commodities sectors

What they're looking for:

• 1 to 6 years of leveraged finance experience in a large firm or recognized finance boutique
• Familiarity with diverse debt structures and transactional types
• Strong legal drafting and negotiation abilities
• Commercial acumen and pragmatic problem-solving
• Comfort working across borders and multiple time zones
• J.D. or LL.M. from a top-tier law school
• New York bar admission or waiver eligibility

Compensation: $225,000 to $420,000 annually
