A Magic Circle firm's funds and asset management practice advises global fund sponsors and institutional investors on investment vehicle formation, fundraising, secondary transactions, and portfolio management across all asset classes.

The work:

• Formation of closed-ended, open-ended, evergreen, and permanent capital investment vehicles
• Primary fundraising and secondary transactions, including LP portfolio acquisitions and fund reorganizations
• GP-led continuation vehicles and bespoke investor arrangements
• Coverage across private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and real estate asset classes
• Coordination with tax and regulatory specialists to provide integrated legal advice
• Institutional investor counsel on fund commitments, joint ventures, and portfolio transactions

What they're looking for:

• Strong academic credentials and intellectual capability
• Genuine interest in investment vehicle formation and fund management
• Prior experience at a peer law firm
• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school
• New York Bar admission required
• Class years 2017-2022 preferred (4-8 years post-bar experience)
• Entrepreneurial mindset and team-player approach
