A firm dedicated to venture and emerging-growth companies is hiring a mid-level fund formation associate in Silicon Valley. The seat represents venture capital funds through formation, fundraising, and ongoing operation. Clients are the managers who raise capital and back early-stage companies.

The work:

• Form venture funds and draft the partnership and offering documents behind them
• Advise managers on fundraising, closings, and investor negotiations
• Handle side letters, management company structuring, and carry arrangements
• Support ongoing fund operations and regulatory questions for investment advisers

What they're looking for:

• Around three to five years of fund formation or investment management experience
• Comfort with limited partnership terms and the economics of venture funds
• Attention to detail on complex fund documents
