AmLaw 100 law firm seeking financial services associate with 3-7 years of experience to advise asset managers, investment funds, and financial institutions on fund formation and regulatory matters. The financial services practice handles matters across fund structures, regulatory compliance, and emerging areas like digital assets.

The work:

• Advise on fund formation and structure, including ETFs, interval funds, and business development companies
• Handle cross-border registration and regulatory compliance matters
• Support clients through regulatory examinations and enforcement actions
• Advise on broker-dealer, commodities regulation, and digital asset issues
• Draft regulatory filings and provide strategic counsel on complex compliance matters

What they're looking for:

• 3-7 years of legal experience
• Strong knowledge of the Investment Company Act and/or Investment Advisers Act
• Experience with fund structures, asset management, broker-dealer work, commodities, or digital assets (preferred)
• Background at a large law firm, in-house counsel position, or regulatory agency (preferred)
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Ability to manage complex matters independently and as part of a team
