Finance Counsel, New York · Vault Top 25 Firm

Counsel-level position in finance at a Vault top-tier firm focused on lending transactions and credit arrangements. You'll execute large, sophisticated deals for institutional lenders and private debt funds with substantial independence and client contact. This role carries significant responsibility for transaction management and structuring decisions.

The work:

• Advise institutional lenders and private debt fund sponsors on complex credit facilities
• Execute lending transactions and credit arrangements from structuring to close
• Manage sophisticated credit agreements and lending documentation
• Provide strategic legal guidance on transaction structure and risk allocation

What they're looking for:

• 7+ years of law firm experience in finance transactions and lending
• New York bar admission, in good standing
• Strong law school academic record
• Demonstrated expertise in lending products and credit structures
• Ability to manage complex transactions independently with client oversight

Compensation: $420,000-$460,000 annually based on experience.
