Finance Associate, Multiple US Locations · Vault Top 10 Firm

Vault Top 10 firm with a leading finance practice representing private equity sponsors, private companies, and other borrowers in structured lending transactions. Associates work on complex, fast-paced acquisition financing and refinancing matters with a collaborative team of experienced lenders and corporate attorneys.

The work:

• Structure and negotiate secured lending transactions, particularly acquisition financing and refinancing deals
• Draft loan documents, security agreements, and related transaction materials
• Advise private equity sponsors and borrowers on financing strategy and deal structuring
• Build and maintain client relationships across multiple transactions
• Coordinate on cross-border matters through the firm's global platform

What they're looking for:

• 3-6 years of finance experience at a top-tier law firm, primarily in secured transactions and acquisition financing
• Strong background in representing borrowers and sponsors in leveraged lending
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to explain complex matters concisely
• Demonstrated client relationship management and independent judgment
• California bar admission required
