Finance Associate, Charlotte · AmLaw 100 Firm

An AmLaw 100 firm's Finance and Banking practice is seeking a mid-level associate for its Charlotte office. You'll handle commercial lending and leveraged finance transactions, representing lenders, borrowers, and other stakeholders in credit facility arrangements. Your responsibilities include structuring transactions, drafting documentation, and managing all aspects of the financing process.

The work:

• Structure commercial loans and leveraged finance transactions
• Draft and negotiate loan documentation and credit agreements
• Represent lenders and borrowers in financing transactions
• Coordinate with clients, underwriters, and other advisors
• Manage multiple transactions with competing deadlines

What they're looking for:

• 3-5 years of finance and banking experience
• Demonstrated experience with commercial lending and leveraged finance
• Strong loan documentation drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• North Carolina bar admission required
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical capabilities

The salary range is $260,000 to $310,000, depending on experience.
