Finance Associate, Austin/Dallas/Houston · Finance Powerhouse

Join a leading national law firm's Finance team as a mid-level associate. You'll work on sophisticated finance transactions for corporate borrowers, private equity funds, banks, and other financial institutions, with particular depth in energy and infrastructure.

The work:

• Advise lenders and borrowers on syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings, and asset-based arrangements
• Draft and negotiate financing documentation including facility agreements and security documents
• Handle reserve-based lending, bridge loans, and working capital facilities
• Support high-yield debt issuances for corporate issuers and institutional investors
• Manage transactions with cross-border components
• Work directly with experienced partners on high-profile matters

What they're looking for:

• J.D. from accredited law school; strong academic record
• 3-6 years of experience in finance at peer law firms
• Background in syndicated lending, acquisition finance, or secured lending
• Capable drafter and negotiator with strong analytical skills
• Comfortable managing multiple matters concurrently
• Texas bar admission or bar eligibility (waiver into Texas bar acceptable)
• Willingness to work in Austin, Dallas, or Houston
