Energy Project Finance Associate, Atlanta, New York, DC · Top Energy and Infrastructure Firm

This top energy and infrastructure firm seeks an associate to join its project finance and development practice across multiple offices. The role offers responsibility on sophisticated energy transactions, with significant client contact and mentorship from senior practitioners.

The work:

• Structure and negotiate complex energy project financings, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and development transactions
• Draft and revise agreements for power purchase agreements, operation and maintenance contracts, engineering/procurement/construction contracts, and tolling arrangements
• Support project development and supply agreements across renewable energy and infrastructure assets
• Manage components of transactions independently while collaborating with senior team members

What they're looking for:

• 4-7 years of project finance or development experience in energy, renewables, or infrastructure
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills with capacity to manage deal components
• Collaborative approach and commitment to client service
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on sophisticated matters
• Compensation: $295,000-$370,000 based on experience
