Energy & Infrastructure Transactions Associate, New York · Global Energy and Project Finance Firm

Join a global law firm's energy and project finance practice as a mid-level associate. This group represents lenders, sponsors, and investors in complex energy infrastructure transactions, handling some of the largest capital deployments in the sector.

The work:

• Advising on acquisitions, sales, and equity placements in energy and infrastructure assets and portfolios
• Project development work and structured project financing
• Performing and overseeing due diligence reviews
• Preparing transaction documents and ancillary agreements
• Coordinating across tax, environmental, real estate, and regulatory counsel
• Managing transaction execution through closing

What they're looking for:

• 3-6 years of law firm experience with energy or infrastructure transactional focus
• Current admission to practice in New York
• Strong analytical, writing, and oral communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with partners and clients on complex matters
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
