Energy & Climate Solutions Associate, Multiple US Locations · Vault Top Firm

A top-tier firm's energy practice is seeking mid-level associates to work on transactional deals across renewable energy and infrastructure sectors. Your work spans project development and financing arrangements, serving clients from startups commercializing new technologies to leading independent power producers and major technology buyers.

The work:

• Draft and review project development contracts, power purchase agreements, and related offtake arrangements
• Negotiate and structure commercial agreements and joint venture transactions
• Work on project and portfolio acquisitions with supporting project finance components
• Apply commercial structures to solar, wind, geothermal, natural gas, battery, nuclear, and data center projects
• Manage client relationships and counterparty negotiations directly with partners

What they're looking for:

• 3 to 7 years of transactional experience, ideally with energy sector exposure
• Capability to work across different commercial structures and project types
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Ability to work quickly on novel and complex transactions
• Demonstrated interest in building deep expertise in energy project development
