A nationally prominent litigation practice focuses on energy companies navigating regulatory systems. The team handles the full spectrum of energy law disputes and proceedings: regulatory advocacy, federal and state litigation, investigation defense, and strategic counsel on policy matters.

The work:

• Litigation on behalf of utilities, independent generators, renewable companies, and trade groups
• Regulatory proceedings and advocacy before state and federal agencies
• Complex document discovery, witness preparation, and deposition work
• Brief and pleading drafting, trial preparation, and oral argument
• Expert-witness coordination and case strategy development
• Client counseling on regulatory trends and litigation risk

What they're looking for:

• 3–6 years of active litigation or regulatory practice
• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy
• Proven ability to manage document discovery and depositions
• Organized approach to case management and client communication
• High academic credentials
• Genuine commitment to pro bono work
• California Bar membership required
• Ability to maintain focus in high-volume, time-sensitive matters

Compensation: $260,000–$390,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
