Energy and Infrastructure Associate, Multiple US Locations · AmLaw 100 Firm

AmLaw 100 firm with leading energy and infrastructure practice seeks associate for offtake and power purchase agreement work. This role focuses on the commercial and contractual side of renewable energy and energy storage transactions. You'll negotiate and draft power purchase agreements, storage offtake agreements, and related hedging and credit instruments that underpin project financing. The team works across the country with positions available in multiple U.S. offices.

The work:

• Advise on renewable energy power purchase agreements (physical and virtual, buy and sell-side)
• Handle corporate PPAs and energy storage offtake agreements
• Negotiate carbon removal credit offtakes and nuclear offtakes
• Draft renewable energy credit agreements, hedging agreements, and resource adequacy sales agreements
• Support ISDA and EEI agreement negotiations

What they're looking for:

• 3-9 years in energy projects, renewables, or energy storage
• Strong offtake agreement experience (PPAs, corporate PPAs, or energy storage)
• Comfort working directly with clients in dynamic environments
• State bar membership in your intended practice location
• Strong academic credentials and communication skills
