Emerging Companies & Venture Capital Associate, San Francisco · Top International Firm

A top international firm is adding a mid-level associate to its San Francisco emerging companies and venture capital group. The team represents startups across their life cycle and the funds that back them. The work moves from early formation through successive financing rounds.

The work:

• Advise founders on entity formation, equity structures, and early governance
• Run venture financings for companies and investors, from term sheet through closing
• Handle the commercial, employment, and IP matters that surface as companies scale
• Support strategic transactions and exits, including M&A and secondary sales
• Manage client relationships directly as a primary point of contact

What they're looking for:

• Three to five years of startup and venture financing experience
• Ability to lead financings and advise founders with limited supervision
• California bar admission or eligibility to qualify
