A leading technology law firm is seeking mid-to-senior associates for its emerging companies and venture capital practice across Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Palo Alto. The group represents companies at all stages (formation, early financing, growth rounds, M&A) as well as the venture capital and private equity funds that invest in them. Associates work with experienced practitioners on business formation, venture financings, and M&A matters spanning the company lifecycle.

The work:

• Entity formation and corporate structuring
• Venture capital and growth equity financings
• Mergers and acquisitions for technology and growth-stage companies
• Fund formation and investment documentation
• Full lifecycle representation from startup through exit

What they're looking for:

• 4+ years experience at a comparable law firm
• Strong academic credentials and professional references
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Quantitative and Excel capabilities
• Ability to manage complex client and counsel relationships

Compensation range: $310,000-$420,000 annually, plus 401(k), health insurance, paid holidays, and discretionary bonuses.
