Derivatives Associate, London · Global Finance Powerhouse

Leading global finance firm seeks mid-to-senior derivatives associate to join its London capital markets team. You'll work on sophisticated cross-border derivatives and structured finance transactions advising major financial institutions.

The work:

• Advise on complex derivatives products: structured transactions, repackagings, structured notes, and derivative trading
• Draft, review, and negotiate ISDA master agreements, credit support documentation, and related agreements
• Support structured finance and securitisation matters, including structured repo and derivatives
• Counsel on risk management strategies and collateral structures
• Advise on regulatory compliance and market documentation
• Work with clients including investment banks and financial institutions on credit risk mitigation and alternative risk-transfer products

What they're looking for:

• Qualified as solicitor in England & Wales (equivalent experience considered)
• 3-8 years at a top-tier UK, US, or international law firm with derivatives and structured finance focus
• Strong academic background and solid understanding of derivatives products and financial markets
• Experience drafting, negotiating, and advising on ISDA agreements and master agreements
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex transactions accurately
• Proactive, solutions-oriented approach with strong commercial awareness
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
