Leading venture law firm specializing in debt financing for technology and life sciences companies seeks a mid-level associate for its Debt Financing Group in Boston or New York. You'll counsel venture-backed and public companies through all aspects of debt financing and secured transactions, working directly with CEOs, boards, and venture fund general partners.

The work:

• Structure and negotiate commercial loan facilities and secured transactions
• Handle venture debt, recurring revenue loans, asset-based lending, and fund finance arrangements
• Advise on both bilateral and syndicated loan structures
• Provide direct counsel to founders, board members, and fund managers

What they're looking for:

• 3+ years of direct experience in debt financing and secured transactions
• Prior work at a BigLaw firm or recognized debt finance boutique
• JD from 2021-2022 graduation classes
• Bar admission to Massachusetts or New York (or eligible for waiver)
• Demonstrated experience representing lenders or borrowers in venture debt, asset-based lending, and other debt financing transactions
• Compensation: $310,000–$365,000
