Debt Finance Associate, New York · Vault Top 10 Firm

A Vault top 10 firm's New York office seeks a debt finance associate to join its corporate finance practice. You'll advise institutional lenders, corporate borrowers, and private equity sponsors on a full range of debt transactions, from acquisition financing and syndicated credit facilities to complex restructurings and loan workouts.

The work:

• Draft and negotiate credit agreements, term sheets, commitment papers, and security documentation
• Support M&A financing transactions for corporate and PE clients
• Advise on syndicated credit facilities and loan structuring
• Manage debt workouts and restructuring negotiations with lenders and creditors
• Evaluate debt finance obligations and develop transaction advice

What they're looking for:

• 3+ years of associate-level experience in corporate or debt finance at an international law firm
• Strong drafting and transaction management skills
• Experience advising lenders, borrowers, and sponsors across multiple transaction types
• JD or LL.M. required; New York bar admission required
