Debt Finance Associate, Houston · Magic Circle Firm

Magic Circle law firm seeks debt finance associate to join its global finance practice. You'll work on sophisticated corporate and debt financing transactions, representing financial institutions, corporates, private equity sponsors, and alternative funds on domestic and cross-border matters.

The work:

• Advise on acquisition financings, refinancings, and leveraged buyout transactions
• Structure and execute complex financing arrangements across jurisdictions
• Represent diverse client bases on debt and equity matters
• Handle asset-backed financing and infrastructure project work
• Develop expertise in corporate lending, syndicated facilities, and hybrid capital
• Prepare financing documentation and conduct sophisticated legal analysis

What they're looking for:

• 3-8 years of legal experience (ideally class years 2017-2023)
• Demonstrated background with sponsor-side representation and debt finance
• Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical and writing skills
• Understanding of commercial finance mechanics and lending structures
• Texas bar admission required
• Compensation: $260,000-$435,000 based on qualifications
