Data Privacy Litigation Associate, Los Angeles and Oakland · National Litigation Firm

National litigation firm seeking data privacy litigation associate to handle complex commercial litigation with focus on California data protection laws in Los Angeles and Oakland offices.

The work:

• Manage all phases of complex commercial litigation
• Conduct factual investigations and discovery management in privacy matters
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and handle depositions
• Engage in settlement negotiations and client communication
• Work with CCPA and CIPA-related matters
• Represent clients in arbitration and class action proceedings as relevant

What they're looking for:

• 3–4 years complex commercial litigation experience
• Expertise in California data privacy laws (CCPA, CIPA)
• Active California bar license or commitment to obtain one
• Strong analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple matters independently
• Familiarity with class actions and/or arbitration preferred
