A sovereign investor is hiring senior in-house counsel for its Dubai team. The role covers corporate and transactional matters across the fund's investment activity, working close to the deal from term sheet through execution and into portfolio management. This is a principal-facing seat in a lean legal function.

The work:

• Lead legal execution on direct investments, co-investments, and joint ventures across sectors and geographies.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including SPAs, shareholder agreements, and financing terms.
• Manage external counsel across jurisdictions and control legal spend on live deals.
• Advise the investment team on structuring, regulatory, and governance questions through to close.
• Support portfolio companies post-investment on corporate and commercial matters.

What they're looking for:

• 8+ PQE with a corporate or M&A background from a recognised firm or in-house team.
• Someone who can run transactions independently in a small, commercial environment.
• Judgment on business risk, not legal analysis alone.
