Corporate Restructuring Senior Associate, Chicago & New York · Restructuring Specialist

A restructuring-focused practice seeks a senior associate with six or more years of complex bankruptcy and restructuring experience. You'll advise institutional and private credit lenders and large public and private companies on sophisticated in-court and out-of-court restructurings and Chapter 11 reorganizations across multiple industries.

The work:

• Draft, negotiate, and structure loan documents for lenders and borrowers
• Prepare and file Chapter 11 petitions, plans of reorganization, and restructuring motions
• Execute workout agreements and advise on out-of-court restructuring strategies
• Represent lenders and debtors in bankruptcy and creditor negotiations

What they're looking for:

• Minimum six years of bankruptcy and restructuring experience
• Demonstrated expertise in Chapter 11 filings, loan documentation, and creditor agreements
• Strong analytical and writing skills
• Bar admission in your target office location (Chicago or New York)
