Corporate Restructuring Associate, New York · Vault Top 10 Firm

A top-tier law firm seeks experienced corporate associates for its restructuring and special situations practice in New York, handling complex financial and operational reorganizations.

The work:

• Represent company debtors, creditors, and other stakeholders in chapter 11 bankruptcy cases
• Advise on out-of-court restructuring transactions and debt exchanges
• Draft court motions, pleadings, and credit documentation in bankruptcy proceedings
• Structure capital solutions and liability management transactions for distressed companies

What they're looking for:

• Minimum three years of corporate restructuring experience at a law firm
• Demonstrated proficiency drafting bankruptcy motions and credit agreements
• Experience advising on both company debtor and creditor-side perspectives
• Current bar admission (or admission forthcoming)
