Mid-level associate role supporting cross-border corporate transactions, particularly M&A with regulatory complexity. Based in Shanghai office, serving multinational clients.

The work:

• Complex cross-border M&A transactions
• Regulatory compliance matters including CFIUS review, export controls, and sanctions compliance
• Corporate transactional advisory for international clients
• Legal research, drafting, and client counseling

What they're looking for:

• 4-6 years of corporate transactional experience, with minimum 2 years post-bar in the United States
• Native fluency in Mandarin Chinese and business English
• Admitted to practice in the U.S.
• Background in cross-border M&A and regulatory compliance preferred
• Strong writing and communication skills in both languages
• Ability to manage multiple projects under deadline pressure
