Corporate Associate, Washington D.C. · Vault Top 30 Firm

A leading venture capital and corporate practice seeks mid-level associates for its Washington D.C. office to handle its growing corporate transaction practice. You'll work on transactions in private equity, venture capital, M&A, IPOs, and securities matters alongside experienced practitioners.

The work:

• Private equity and venture capital transactions
• M&A, securities, and IPO matters
• Public finance transactions
• Document preparation, legal research, and transaction execution
• Client interaction and deal support

What they're looking for:

• 2-5 years of corporate law experience
• Strong academic credentials
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Background in one or more practice areas (PE, VC, IPOs, M&A, securities)
• Bar admission
• Compensation: $235,000-$365,000 based on year of service, plus discretionary bonuses
