Corporate Associate, San Diego · Vault Top 10 Firm

A Vault Top 10 firm's San Diego office seeks a corporate associate to join its venture capital and emerging companies practice. You'll work on both company and investor-side financings, with exposure to institutional VC rounds, growth equity deals, and ongoing private company counseling. This role offers substantial client interaction and project ownership. You're driving deals, not supporting them.

The work:

• Venture capital and growth equity financings from structure through close
• Private company formation, cap table management, and day-to-day counsel
• Managing matters with significant independence and client contact
• Supporting local and national transaction teams

What they're looking for:

• 3-6 years' experience at a large or mid-size law firm
• Demonstrated expertise in company and investor-side venture financing
• Ability to manage projects autonomously and maintain client relationships
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
