Corporate Associate, San Diego · Am Law 100 Firm

An Am Law 100 firm seeks a corporate associate for its M&A practice, advising on public and private transactions including venture capital and private equity deals.

The work:

• Advise on public and private M&A transactions and deal structuring
• Support venture capital and private equity transactions
• Draft and negotiate acquisition agreements and related M&A documentation
• Work across practice areas on complex, multi-jurisdictional deals
• Manage substantial client relationships and deal responsibilities

What they're looking for:

• 4–6 years of corporate transactions experience with M&A focus
• Strong knowledge of acquisition agreements and complex M&A documentation
• Proficiency in M&A drafting and deal structures
• California bar admission
• Ability to manage significant workload independently and work effectively across teams
• Strong academic credentials and writing ability

Compensation: $310,000–$390,000, plus discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.
