Corporate Associate, New York · Vault Top 5 Firm

A Vault top five firm is hiring a junior corporate associate in New York to support cross-border matters involving Japanese clients. The work covers M&A, financings, and general corporate advisory, with regular contact with Japan-based counterparties and counsel. First-year associates who can operate in both Japanese and English are the target.

The work:

• Support M&A and investment transactions for Japanese companies operating in or entering the US market
• Draft and review corporate agreements, closing documents, and diligence deliverables
• Coordinate with Japan-based clients and local counsel across time zones
• Handle entity formation, corporate housekeeping, and ongoing advisory for portfolio companies

What they're looking for:

• A US JD and New York admission or pending admission
• Native Japanese and strong written English
• One or more years in a corporate group, ideally with cross-border exposure
