Corporate Associate, Los Angeles · Leading M&A and Private Equity Firm

A leading M&A and private equity firm seeks an experienced corporate associate for its Los Angeles office. This is an opportunity for a strong mid-to-senior level practitioner to take on expanded deal management responsibilities and supervisory roles.

The work:

• Lead significant deal matters for financial sponsors and strategic buyers/sellers
• Handle leveraged buyouts, growth equity investments, and minority stake transactions
• Draft transaction documentation and manage commercial negotiations
• Run diligence processes and coordinate specialist teams
• Supervise junior corporate associates
• Advise on transaction structure and risk allocation

What they're looking for:

• 4-6 years of M&A and/or private equity transactional experience at a top-tier law firm
• Track record as a lead associate on major deals
• Demonstrated expertise representing financial sponsors and strategic acquirers
• Experience across the deal lifecycle: diligence, documentation, and closing
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and supervise junior staff
• Active California Bar membership

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
