Corporate Associate, Houston · National Firm

A national corporate firm is building its Houston team with a mid-level associate to lead M&A and related transactions. You'll own significant portions of deals, from due diligence through closing, with regular partner and client contact. Deal structures support associates taking real responsibility early. The role covers acquisitions, divestitures, and securities matters, with opportunity to draft transaction documents, manage matters independently, and communicate directly with clients.

The work:

• Lead substantive pieces of M&A transactions and corporate deals
• Manage due diligence, negotiation, and closing processes for significant client matters
• Draft transaction documents and handle securities-related corporate work
• Interact directly with partners and clients throughout deal cycles

What they're looking for:

• 3 to 6 years of transactional corporate experience, preferably M&A-focused
• Licensed and in good standing in Texas
• Strong analytical and drafting skills
• Excellent matter management and client communication abilities
• Some securities experience preferred
