A leading global law firm with strong expertise in construction and projects law seeks an experienced construction and projects lawyer for its Brisbane office. This flexible consulting arrangement is ideal for a seasoned construction lawyer or someone transitioning to more flexible working.

The work:

• Advising on structure and delivery of major infrastructure projects, including roads, rail, energy, and renewables
• Supporting commercial teams in identifying legal and risk issues throughout project lifecycles
• Drafting and negotiating major contracts and key commercial documentation
• Providing counsel to government entities and private sector clients
• Managing complex legal issues and senior stakeholder engagement
• Working autonomously to prioritize and solve technical and commercial problems

What they're looking for:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in front-end construction and projects law
• Strong technical legal skills in influencing, negotiation, and drafting
• Proven ability to advise government entities (highly valued)
• Current practising certificate
• Right to live and work in Australia
