Leading national law firm seeking a professional responsibility attorney for its conflicts management operation. This role involves stewarding the firm's intake and conflict resolution processes, protecting the firm and clients from conflicts of interest and ethical risks.

The work:

• Process client and matter intake, conducting conflicts checks
• Identify potential conflicts and communicate with affected parties
• Prepare engagement letters, waiver letters, and related documentation
• Maintain ethical screens and legal firewalls
• Monitor ethics rules, opinions, and case law developments
• Identify and resolve conflicts arising from client M&A activity
• Provide guidance on conflicts and business intake policies

What they're looking for:

• 5+ years of legal experience, preferably at a large law firm
• Background in conflicts of interest or professional responsibility
• JD from ABA-accredited law school and bar admission
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail and sound discretion
