Commercial Litigation Consultant, Melbourne · Global Law Firm

Global law firm seeks an experienced commercial litigation lawyer for a 3-month engagement in Melbourne supporting a business and enterprise organization. You'll advise on active disputes and contentious matters, assess legal risk on commercial claims, and coordinate with external counsel.

The work:

• Review and interpret contract disputes and related legal obligations
• Assess risk in ongoing commercial litigation
• Advise senior leadership on dispute resolution options
• Work with external counsel on litigation strategy and case management
• Support client compliance with procedural requirements

What they're looking for:

• 8+ years in commercial litigation or general commercial law
• Experience from private practice or in-house at large organizations
• Background in franchising disputes or franchise law preferred
• Current Australian practicing certificate
• Right to work in Australia
• Ability to move quickly on legal analysis and risk assessment
