Commercial Litigation Associate, Seattle · National Litigation Firm

Midlevel commercial litigation associate in a national litigation-focused firm, based in Seattle. This role offers substantive responsibility across all phases of complex commercial disputes: fact investigation, legal research, pleading drafting, discovery management, depositions, and trial preparation. You'll work directly with clients and partners on disputes in state and federal courts and arbitration proceedings.

The work:

• Manage discovery, depositions, and e-discovery platforms
• Draft and argue motions; contribute to appellate work
• Develop case strategy with partners and clients
• Mentor junior associates and paralegals
• Support business development initiatives

What they're looking for:

• 2–4 years of litigation experience at a law firm, clerkship, or similar environment
• Washington bar admission (or ability to waive in)
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage discovery and handle court appearances independently
• Team-oriented approach with commitment to client service
